It's been two weeks and my parcel still hasn't arrived, what should I do?
As all parcels are sent recorded they will need to be signed for upon delivery.
If you are not at home to sign for it when the parcel is delivered it will be taken to your nearest postal depot for you to collect from there so please check!
I'm sorry but I cannot be held resonsible for parcels that go missing in the post.
If you would like extra insurance for your parcel please contact me and I will be happy to help!
I am happy to provide tracking numbers on request and will do everything I can to help locate missing parcels from this end.
Is the corset/choker/stockings in the photos for sale?
No, sorry! All accessories used in the photos are not for sale unless specified.
I am in the USA and I need this item for a party in three days time, can I have it sent express?
Yes express delivery is available but may still take around 2-3 working days so please don't leave it until the last minute or you could pay extra and still not receive your parcel in time!
Can my parcel be tracked once it has left the UK?
All parcels sent internationally can be tracked until they leave the UK. Once they are picked up by the overseas postal service they may not be trackable.
If you want extra insurance and tracking then please contact me.
Express shipping is also available on request at an extra charge.
How long will it take for a parcel to reach me once it has been dispatched?
All postal services around the World are different...so it's very difficult to be precise, but this is a good general guide...
UK within 1-2 working days
Europe within 3-4 working days
US & Worldwide within 5-7 working days
Can I get the tracking number for my parcel?
All parcels are sent recorded and tracking numbers are available on request. However, unless you suspect your parcel has gone astray and seems to be taking much longer to arrive than it should then there is no need for you to worry!
Why does my jacket/breeches/skirt not look exactly like the picture?
Some of my designs are re-constructed and customised using only quality hand picked vintage and pre-loved garments.
This means that there may be slight differences in colour, style, details, buttons etc.
I strongly feel that customising used or vintage garments is important in this current "throw away fashion" society, and as all you eco conscious divas out there know, green is the new black!!
If something is the wrong size or I just don't like it, may I return it for an exchange or refund?
We take our customer service very seriously here at the Boudoir and are more than happy to exchange or refund any garments purchased.
However, exchanges may incur extra postal charges and unless there is a serious fault with the item your postal expenses will not be refunded.
Please contact me if you wish to return or exchange an item and you will be given a returns number which you must include in the returning parcel.
All garments must be returned within 14 days unworn with tags still attatched or they will be sent back and the refund or exchange refused.
Refunds will be issued within 28 days of the return of the garment/s.
Sorry no refunds or returns on custom made items.
How should I measure myself for made to order items?
For your chest measurement please measure round the fullest part of the bust.
Please remember that your bra size is not the same as your chest size, that is something totally different and unless specifically requested for lingerie purchases this is not needed.
For you waist measurement please measure round the narrowest part of your waist.
The low waist is measured approx 1" below the belly button.
Hips are measured round the widest part of your bottom, usually at the top of the thighs.
Please be aware that we cannot do refunds or exchanges on custom designs, sorry! Please make absolutely sure the size you have chosen is correct before purchase.
Why might it take up to 10 working days for my purchase to be dispatched?
Here at the Lovechild Boudoir we do try to hold a few items in stock at all times.
However, being a small business we also hand make many items to order, our designs are not mass produced cheaply in a factory overseas!
All designs are made by myself or one of my fantastic local machinists. Please be patient and if you need something for that special occasion in a hurry please contact us before you make your purchase to check that we can dispatch your item/s in time.
